Summer in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia
Skopje (Macedonian: Скопје, [ˈskɔpjɛ] ( listen)) is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Macedonia. It is the country's political, cultural, economic, and academic center. It was known in the Roman period under the name Scupi.
For those of you who don't know Skopje has been rebuild these 2 years. There was a project SKOPJE 2014 delivered by the Macedonian government.

Orthodox’s Old New Year 2014
The Orthodox New Year, also known as the Old New Year, according to the Julian calendar is
on January 14 in the Gregorian calendar.
The Orthodox New Year is not a federal public holiday but it
may be a regional or non-official holiday limited to regional areas or
religious groups in countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Serbia,
Montenegro, Macedonia, Russia, and the Ukraine. The Orthodox New Year is
observed among Orthodox Christians in countries such as Australia, Canada, the
